Join NorTech Energy Enterprise for the second in a series of four highly informative, interactive workshops where you will have the opportunity to gain broad global insights from national experts on each of the advanced energy roadmap industry sectors. This workshop will feature 3 global experts from the Energy Storage sector, who will provide information on energy storage technologies, emerging global markets and the policies and regulations that will drive and shape growth. This small workshop setting will allow you to raise and discuss your questions and issues with these globally respected industry experts:

 

          Anthony Price, Swanbarton Limited (U.K.)

Swanbarton Limited, energy storage focused engineering and commercial consulting firm.

Mr. Price is a member of the United States Department of Energy Peer Review Panel of Energy Storage Systems, serves on the Energy Panel of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the advisory committee to the Electricity Storage Association.

          Charlie Vartanian, A123 Systems

Director of Market Development, A123 Systems, advanced Lithium-ion batteries manufacturer.

Mr. Vartanian focuses on grid application development and market access advocacy to expand the use of advanced storage technologies for grid benefit.   

          Michael Salomon, Clean Horizon Consulting (France)

Founder, Clean Horizon Consulting, cleantech strategy management consulting firm.

With roots in academia, venture capital and strategic corporate management, Clean Horizon helps clients, mainly utilities and venture funds, integrate clean technologies into their corporate strategy. 

 

NorTech Energy Enterprise is developing four advanced energy roadmaps focusing on sectors with compelling regional assets and global market opportunities for Northeast Ohio: transportation electrification, energy storage, biomass/waste-to-energy, and smart grid. This workshop is being hosted as part of NorTech's efforts on the development of a roadmap in the energy storage sector.
